Snow Hiking Experience in the Japanese Alps – Nishihotaka Tour(Matumoto・Hirayu・Takayama)

Easy Access via the Shin-Hotaka Ropeway (2,156m)

Reach the starting point easily using the Shin-Hotaka Ropeway, Japan’s highest cable car.
In just a few minutes, you’ll ascend to 2,156 meters at the Nishiho-daka Station, surrounded by breathtaking alpine scenery.

Beginner-Friendly Winter Mountaineering Experience

Even first-time winter hikers are welcome!Our certified guides will carefully teach you how to use an ice axe, crampons, avalanche beacon, and snowshoes before the hike begins.
You can enjoy the adventure safely and confidently with professional support throughout the tour.
※Mountaineering experience is required.
