Snowshoe Photo Tour
Capture memories of couples and families while playing in Kamikochi and Norikura Kogen
From family photos and travel memories to location photos for weddings. Photographs that will be treasured for a lifetime as a reminder of an extraordinary time in the serene wilderness. We will take photos while enjoying snow hiking.

You will be shot in cold weather below -10 degrees Celsius.
In winter, most days in Kamikochi and Norikura-Kogen are below -10℃. It is a very difficult environment to photograph with your own smartphone or camera. A photographer who shoots in Kamikochi every year will guide you while you take photos, so you can get your own unique photos that you cannot take anywhere else.

Outdoor photographer living in Norikura Kogen. He walks and shoots in the mountains of Japan every year. He also shoots for The North Face catalog while doing location photography in Norikura Kogen. Because I live in Norikura, I can take you to the most suitable shooting location at any given time. Because I live in Norikura, I can take you to the most appropriate location for the shoot at any given time.

Location photography is also available in winter at Kamikochi and the icefalls within Norikura Kogen. Additional fees may apply depending on location and content.

We will take you to the most beautiful time in the morning when the foggy ice appears.
Rime ice are supercooled mist particles blown by the wind onto trees and other surfaces, and the stimulation causes ice to form on them, just like snowflakes. It looks like a white flower blooming on a tree, and has an indescribable beauty. Please note that you may not be able to see rime due to weather conditions.
